Before You Start...

1.  Use these instructions to install/upgrade LXI Job Scheduler.

2.  If you have multiple LXI products on your system, they will all need to be upgraded.

3.  If you have multiple LXI products on your system, the LXI Base only needs to be installed once.

Download LXI Job Scheduler
----------------

1.  Download LXI Job Scheduler from the LXI Website Downloads page.

2.  Move the downloaded file (LXI0000) to a save file on the IBM IBM i (using FTP or similar method).

3.  Move the downloaded file (LXI0087) to a save file on the IBM IBM i (using FTP or similar method).

Install LXI Base
----------------

1.  Prompt (F4) the Restore License Program (RSTLICPGM) command and enter the following parameter values:

	a.  LICPGM:		0LX0000
	b.  DEV:		*SAVF
	c.  OPTION:		*BASE
	d.  SAVF		(The save file that you put the product into.)

2.  Press Enter.

3.  When complete, continue with the next step.

Install LXI Job Scheduler
-------------------------

1.  Prompt (F4) the Restore License Program (RSTLICPGM) command and enter the following parameter values:

	a.  LICPGM:		0LX0000
	b.  DEV:		*SAVF
	c.  OPTION:		87
	d.  SAVF		(The save file that you put the product into.)

2.  Press Enter.

3.  When complete, type GO LXISCH/LXISCH on the command line and press Enter.
